1 Tender ayote

3 Garlic cloves

2 tablespoons of Culantro

1 Chicken consommé packet

1 Bay leaf

1 cup of Milk

2 cups of Water

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : Peel the ayote and cut it into squares.

Step 2 : In a large pot, heat water until boiling and add the ayote, onion, chili, and garlic previously chopped into small pieces.

Step 3 : Let it boil for about 10 minutes.

Step 4 : Add milk, chicken consommé, a bay leaf, salt, pepper, and culantro to taste.

Step 5 : Continue cooking the mixture over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to integrate the flavors well.
