Ingredients

1 Free-range hen

4 cups of Cooked rice

Culantro coyote

1 Sweet pepper

3 Cloves of garlic

1 Chopped onion

1 Annatto

1 liter of Milk

4 Eggs

Salt, pepper, and thyme

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dish, start by cooking the hen as if you were making a soup, seasoning it to taste with salt, pepper, culantro coyote, sweet pepper, garlic, and onion.

Step 2 : Let it cook for about 1 and a half hours until the hen is tender.

Step 3 : Once ready, separate the hen from the broth and shred it.

Step 4 : To make the rice cakes, cook the rice as usual with a touch of salt and let it cool.

Step 5 : In a bowl, beat the eggs with salt and pepper, then add the rice and the shredded hen (approximately two large tablespoons of rice per egg).

Step 6 : Form small cakes and fry them.

Step 7 : Once you have all the cakes ready, add them to the soup and cook everything together with annatto for 5 minutes.

Step 8 : Before removing from the heat, add milk to taste.

Step 9 : And voilà! Your delicious hen soup with rice cakes is ready to enjoy.
