Ground beef soup
Ingredients
500 grams of Ground beef
2 Onion
2 Sweet peppers
4 Garlic cloves
1 Celery stalk
2 Potatoes
1 Chayote
500 grams of Yuca
1 Corn on the cob
1 Green plantain
1 Sweet potato
2 cups of Beef broth
1 tablespoon of Oregano
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : The recipe starts by peeling and cutting the yuca, potato, sweet potato, plantain, and corn on the cob, and then setting them aside.
Step 2 : In a pot, achiote oil is added and the onion, garlic, and chili are sautéed.
Step 3 : The meat is added and sautéed for several minutes, seasoned with salt, pepper, and oregano.
Step 4 : Then, the broth is added and allowed to boil for approximately 10 minutes.
Step 5 : Then the potatoes, chayote, yuca, corn on the cob, plantain, and celery cut into small pieces are added.
Step 6 : Adjust the flavor, add cilantro leaves, and serve piping hot.
