Costa Rican Pork Soup with Stuffed Meatballs
Ingredients
1 kilogram of Spine
¾ kilogram of Pork shoulder
1 Garlic head
1 Culantro roll
½ kilogram of Yuca
1 Green plantain
3 Dough balls
Preparation
Step 1 : Place the spine and pork shoulder in a pot to cook until tender.
Step 2 : Once the meats are ready, add the vegetables and let cook until tender.
Step 3 : Remove a portion of the cooked meat, finely chop it, and season with sweet chili, onion, garlic, and cilantro to taste.
Step 4 : Mix the chopped meat with dough to form small tortillas, add a little of the prepared meat, and carefully shape into a ball.
Step 5 : Repeat the process with the remaining chopped meat and carefully add the formed balls to the soup to complete the preparation.
