Ingredients

Costa Rican Pristinos

350 grams of Flour

1 pinch of Salt

1 Egg

Water at room temperature

1 Dulce de tapa (sweet tapa)

¾ cup of Water

Oil for frying

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, first mix the flour with a pinch of salt.

Step 2 : Then, form a volcano with the flour and add the egg and enough water to form the dough.

Step 3 : Knead well and form small balls that are placed in the fridge on a tray covered for 3 hours.

Step 4 : While the dough rests in the fridge, put water in a pot along with the dulce de tapa and salt, allowing the dulce de tapa to melt slowly.

Step 5 : After the 3 hours of resting, stretch the dough and form pristinos.

Step 6 : Then, fry the pristinos in a skillet with hot oil.

Step 7 : Finally, serve the pristinos and enjoy them with honey.
