Chiverre Empanadas
Ingredients

300 grams of Butter
125 milliliters of Sweet cream
2 cups of Flour
1 teaspoon of Sugar
2 tablespoons of Cinnamon
1 Jar of chiverre honey
1 Egg yolk for brushing
1 pinch of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the empanadas, start by sifting the flour together with the cinnamon.
Step 2 : In a large bowl, mix the butter with the sweet cream and incorporate the sifted flour, salt, and sugar.
Step 3 : Place the resulting dough in the refrigerator to chill for approximately 20 minutes.
Step 4 : After this time, roll out the dough on a floured surface and use a cutter to form circles.
Step 5 : Fill each circle with chiverre honey, making sure to seal it correctly.
Step 6 : Place the empanadas on a tray and brush them with a mixture of egg yolk and a little water.
Step 7 : Then bake the empanadas at an appropriate temperature for about 20 minutes, or until golden and ready to enjoy.
