In a skillet, heat the oil and add the butter.
Sauté seasoned shrimp until they change color.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta in salted water.
In the same skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and chili, then add crushed tomatoes.
Add coconut milk and cook until it thickens.
Mix with the cooked shrimp and pasta.
Serve with Parmesan cheese.
Shrimp Cream Pasta
Ingredients
500 grams of Shrimp, peeled and cleaned
1 Onion, finely chopped
1 Sweet chili, finely chopped
2 Crushed garlic cloves
2 cans of Peeled tomatoes
1 cup of Coconut milk
400 grams of Short pasta
Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon of Paprika
1 teaspoon of Habanero chili, chopped
Achiote oil
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : In a skillet, heat the achiote oil and add a little butter.
Step 2 : Then, sauté the seasoned shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika until they turn orange, then remove and set aside.
Step 3 : Meanwhile, cook the pasta in plenty of salted water.
Step 4 : In the same skillet, sauté the onion, garlic, and sweet chili.
Step 5 : Next, add the crushed tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
Step 6 : Add the coconut milk to the sauce, adjust the seasoning, and cook for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens.
Step 7 : Then, add the reserved shrimp along with the cooked pasta.
Step 8 : Mix all ingredients very well.
Step 9 : Finally, serve the pasta in a deep plate and sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese before enjoying.
