The rice & beans, a traditional dish, combines rice and cooked beans in coconut milk. Its preparation includes sautéed onion, chili, garlic, and ginger, followed by rice and beans, seasoned with salt, pepper, and thyme. Perfect to accompany chicken, fish, plantains, and salad. Delicious.
In a skillet, sauté onion, chili, garlic, and ginger.
Add coconut milk and broth, season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
Then add rice and beans, mix well, and cook a few minutes until the liquid evaporates.

2 tablespoons of Vegetable oil
