Lomo tico bañado
Ingredients
1 kilogram of Beef loin
1 cup of Bread crumbs
2 kilograms of Tomato
1 Grated onion
1 Cilantro bunch
1 can of Green peas
1 Garlic head
3 Eggs
½ cup of Cooked rice with achiote
1 Sweet pepper
1 Stick of margarine
1 Lettuce
1 pinch of Salt
Cooking string
½ teaspoon of Sugar
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this dish, it is recommended to start by grinding the meat with the garlic and then adding a teaspoon of margarine, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs, mixing all the ingredients evenly.
Step 2 : Then, spread the meat on wax paper forming a kind of tortilla and place on top the rice, hard-boiled eggs, and the sweet pepper cut into strips.
Step 3 : Roll the meat carefully in banana leaves and tie it with string before placing it in a pot with boiling water.
Step 4 : On the other hand, to make the sauce, it is important to blend the tomato together with the rest of the margarine, tomato paste, onion, chopped cilantro, salt, pepper, and sugar.
Step 5 : Once the loin is ready and served, it is recommended to pour the sauce on top before enjoying this delicious dish.
