Ingredients

1 kilogram of Tender beans

1 kilogram of Pork shoulder

3 Green plantains

2 Sprigs of thyme

1 Bay leaf

1 Finely chopped onion

6 Crushed garlic cloves

1 Chopped sweet pepper

1 Cilantro bunch

1 Beef consomme packet

1 tablespoon of Complete seasoning

2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

1 cup of Water

Oregano

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : Soak the beans in 1 liter of water with 1 teaspoon of baking soda the day before.

Step 2 : The next day, strain and put them in a thick-bottomed pot to cook for about 35 minutes until soft.

Step 3 : Then add the plantains and diced meat, along with salt and vegetables.

Step 4 : Cook everything over moderate medium heat until done.

Step 5 : At this point, add dissolved consomme in a little water and Worcestershire sauce, adjust the flavors, remove from heat, and serve.
