400 grams of Beef ribs
4 liters of Water
1 tablespoon of Salt
1 kilogram of Carrots
5 Corn on the cob
500 grams of Cassava (yuca)
3 Plantains
500 grams of Potatoes
500 grams of Tiquisque
500 grams of Sweet potato or yams, chopped
Preparation
Step 1 : First, add water to a pot that has been preheated over the stove.
Step 2 : Next, add salt to taste and cut the meat into pieces to add to the pot.
Step 3 : Let it cook over moderate heat for 30 minutes to prepare the broth.
Step 4 : Then, peel the vegetables and rinse them in a container with water.
Step 5 : Cut the vegetables into pieces and add them to the pot in a specific order based on hardness, starting with the hardest ones.
Step 6 : It is recommended to start with carrots, corn, green plantains, and then cassava.
Step 7 : Let it rest for five minutes before adding the remaining vegetables.
Step 8 : After ten minutes, add the chopped tiquisque, potato, and sweet potato.
