Costa Rican Gallo Pinto

Ingredients

2 cups of Cooked or boiled rice

1 cup of Cooked black beans

½ cup of Bean broth

¼ cup of Finely chopped onion

¼ cup of Chopped sweet chili

¼ cup of Chopped cilantro

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pan with hot oil, fry the onion until it becomes transparent.

Step 2 : Then add the sweet chili and let it fry for a little longer.

Step 3 : Next, add the beans with the broth and cilantro, mixing well and letting it boil covered.

Step 4 : Add the rice and stir to distribute it evenly with the beans.

Step 5 : Let it cook until dry, then serve hot.
