Ingredients

2 liters of Milk

4 Egg yolks

½ cup of Sugar

1 ½ tablespoon of Cornstarch or corn flour

1 Cinnamon stick

6 Cloves

3 tablespoons of Water

Rum

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot, place the milk, sugar, cinnamon stick, and cloves, and bring to a boil over low heat for 30 minutes.

Step 2 : In half a cup of milk, dissolve the egg yolks along with the cornstarch previously dissolved in three tablespoons of water.

Step 3 : The egg yolk and cornstarch mixture is added to the boiling milk in the pot, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon for 5 minutes.

Step 4 : Then reduce the heat and let it rest completely.

Step 5 : Finally, add rum to taste to the preparation.

Step 6 : Serve in tall glasses over crushed ice to taste.
