Traditional Bread
Ingredients
2 kilograms of Flour
3 Bars of margarine
3 cups of Sugar
2 cups of Milk
3 tablespoons of Yeast
2 tablespoons of Aniseed
8 Eggs
1 ½ cup of Warm water
Preparation
Step 1 : Sift the flour in a large bowl.
Step 2 : In a pot, melt the margarine with the aniseed and milk, making sure the mixture is warm to hot.
Step 3 : In another large container, place the yeast and add two tablespoons of sugar, followed by warm water.
Step 4 : Let the yeast rest for 10 minutes, covered.
Step 5 : Meanwhile, add the sugar and eggs to the butter and milk mixture.
Step 6 : This preparation is added to the yeast, making sure both are at a similar temperature.
Step 7 : Subsequently, the flour is gradually incorporated into the mixture until a uniform consistency is achieved.
Step 8 : Transfer the dough to a flat surface to knead and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Step 9 : Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200 degrees for 20 minutes and grease one or two trays.
Step 10 : After letting the dough rise, punch it down to release the air and shape the buns as desired.
Step 11 : Then, bake for 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown on the top and bottom.
Step 12 : Once ready, remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
