Homemade sponge cake
Ingredients
1 kilogram of Tortilla dough
750 grams of Grated semi-hard cheese
1 Bag of cream
1 cup of Sugar
1 pinch of Salt
Sour milk
½ Stick of margarine
3 Egg yolks
1 cup of Grated coconut
1 cup of Powdered milk
Banana leaves
Preparation
Step 1 : Place the kilo of dough in a bowl and add the cheese, sugar, salt, coconut, and powdered milk.
Step 2 : Mix everything with your hands.
Step 3 : Then add the eggs, cream, margarine, and sour milk, continuing to mix until you get a homogeneous dough.
Step 4 : Completely line the mold with banana leaves or grease it with lard.
Step 5 : Next, form the puff pastries (sponge cakes) not too thin and place them in the mold.
Step 6 : Preheat the oven to 300°C and bake until golden brown.
