Costa Rican Prestiños
Ingredients
350 grams of Flour
1 pinch of Salt
1 Egg
Room temperature water
1 Tapa de dulce
¾ cup of Water
Frying oil
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, first mix the flour with a pinch of salt.
Step 2 : Then, form a volcano with the flour and add the egg and necessary water to form the dough in the center.
Step 3 : Knead well and form balls that are taken to the refrigerator on a tray covered for 3 hours.
Step 4 : While the dough rests in the refrigerator, place water in a pot with the tapa de dulce and salt, allowing the tapa de dulce to melt slowly.
Step 5 : After 3 hours of resting, stretch the dough and form the Prestiños.
Step 6 : Subsequently, fry the Prestiños in a pan with hot oil.
Step 7 : Finally, serve the Prestiños and enjoy with honey.
