Ingredients

3 kilograms of Yellow corn

½ kilogram of Queso para aliñar

2 tablespoons of Salt

½ kilogram of Grated coconut

2 liters of Sour milk

200 grams of Natilla

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare these delicious corn hojaldras, first cook the corn with lime and let it soak in water until the next day.

Step 2 : Then wash and grind the corn in a machine or mill.

Step 3 : Next, mix all the ingredients with the dough until achieving a smooth and tasty consistency.

Step 4 : Once the dough is ready, shape the hojaldras and wrap them individually in banana leaves.

Step 5 : Bake in a clay oven for 30 minutes or in an electric oven on trays for 25 minutes.

Step 6 : When removing from the oven, wrap the hojaldras in roasted banana leaves to preserve their flavor and enjoy their exquisite texture.
