1 kilogram of Masa

3 kilograms of Pork meat

3 Sweet peppers

1 Head of garlic

1 Culantro bundle

1 Small bunch of celery

Salt

Broth

½ kilogram of Carrot

3 cups of Rice

Achiote

3 kilograms of Leaves and ties

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, start by cooking the sliced carrots and the meat in pieces.

Step 2 : Then finely chop the culantro, onion, garlic, and celery, and fry everything together in a pan.

Step 3 : Cook the meat with enough water until tender, meanwhile, prepare the rice with achiote.

Step 4 : Stir the masa with the meat broth until well moisted.

Step 5 : Then, wrap the masa in leaves and tie them in the shape of pineapples.

Step 6 : Cook the tamales in enough water for about two hours until completely cooked.
