Ingredients

2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

3 Green plantains

½ kilogram of Tomato

½ kilogram of Carne para mechar

5 Garlic cloves

1 Onion

1 Culantro bunch

1 Chopped celery stalk

½ Chopped sweet pepper

1 Beef consomme packet

1 cup of Water

3 tablespoons of Oil

1 teaspoon of Mixed seasonings

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : First, chop the plantains and boil them in salted water. Let them cool.

Step 2 : Then, cook the meat with the garlic, consomme, and ½ cup of water until tender.

Step 3 : Let it cool and chop.

Step 4 : In a separate pot, blend the tomatoes and add them to a pot with the rest of the finely chopped onion, culantro, celery, and sweet pepper.

Step 5 : Add the oil and sauté for 5 minutes.

Step 6 : Mix the meat into the tomato sauce and let it boil for 15 minutes.

Step 7 : Then add the Worcestershire sauce with the seasonings and check for salt.

Step 8 : To finish, add the boiled plantains and cook for 5 minutes to blend the flavors well.
