Costa Rican Chancletas
Ingredients
2 Chayotes sazones
¼ cup of Salted sour cream
¼ cup of Grated fresh cheese
2 tablespoons of Butter
2 tablespoons of Sugar
2 tablespoons of Chopped cilantro
¼ cup of Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
Step 1 : Chayotes are cut lengthwise and cooked in salted water until tender.
Step 2 : Then, the pulp is extracted and a puree is prepared by combining it with sour cream, butter, Turrialba cheese, sugar, and cilantro.
Step 3 : Next, the chayote shells are filled with this mixture.
Step 4 : Mozzarella cheese is placed on top and baked for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
