Corn Tamale

Once it boils well, pour it into a greased pot or mold and bake at 250 ºC, until it acquires a golden layer but not completely.

Ingredients

500 grams of Cornstarch

500 grams of Sugar

3 cups of Fresh milk

3 cups of Buttermilk

250 grams of Grated cheese

250 grams of Butter

3 cups of Water

1 tablespoon of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot, mix the milks and water.

Step 2 : Add the sugar, cornstarch, grated cheese, butter, and salt.

Step 3 : Cook slowly, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until it boils well.

Step 4 : Then, pour the mixture into a greased pot or mold and bake at 250 ºC for about 20 minutes.

Step 5 : The tamale is golden when it acquires a golden layer, but it should not be completely golden.

Step 6 : When cooled, the tamale hardens, and once cold, it can be cut into squares.
