Ingredients

3 Seasoned chayotes

½ kilogram of Meat

½ cup of Shredded cheese

2 Eggs

2 Chopped garlic

1 tablespoon of Oil

1 tablespoon of Chopped cilantro

1 tablespoon of Chopped onion

1 tablespoon of Chopped chile

Preparation

Step 1 : Chayotes are halved and cooked in salted water.

Step 2 : The pulp is removed and mashed.

Step 3 : In a pan, garlic, onion, chile, and meat are sautéed for 15 minutes.

Step 4 : Then add the chayote and cilantro, and fry for another 5 minutes.

Step 5 : Eggs are beaten with salt.

Step 6 : Fill the chayote shells with the puree, egg, and shredded cheese.

Step 7 : Bake until the cheese melts and turns golden brown.
